At our preschool, we love to learn in exciting ways, and the Reggio Emilia approach is like our secret recipe for creative education.
It's all about making our imaginations bloom and helping us become confident learners. Making School Flag is one of the projects that our children are very proud of.
First, our teachers showed us how to dye a canvas cloth with powder turmeric and indigo powder. We then had to wait for the cloth to dry. When it was all ready, we used Sharpie markers to draw who we wanted to see at our school.
We drew ourselves, our pets, our soft toys and even our moms too because they make us feel cozy and safe. Our flags are like a piece of our dreams that we made come true. They show what we love, and they remind us that our voices and dreams are important at our school. We're like little artists creating our own world!
The Liberty School encourages preschool children to be creative and expressing themselves. Making these flags was like a big adventure where we got to use our imaginations. We didn't just draw pictures; we made our feelings and wishes come to life. At Liberty School, we're not just learning; we're making magic happen!
